Jerry Teo is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Pilates BodyTree, a mobility fitness studio in Singapore that has specialised in personal pilates training, rehabilitative pilates, and pilates instructor training since 2012. With over 20 years of experience, Jerry has even trained the Cirque du Soleil Kooza troupe.
In this episode, Jerry shares his unlikely journey from engineering to pilates—sparked by a teacher training course he couldn’t afford, but that ultimately became his life’s work to help others move, heal and grow. Jerry also opens up about founding Pilates BodyTree alongside his two other co-founders Kris Ng and Daniel Chan, and his strong belief in the transformative power of asking, “Why not?”

Kevin Chua is the Chief Human Resources Officer at United World College South East Asia (UWCSEA), a mission-driven international school recognized as a global leader in education. Previously, he was the Chief People Officer at the National University of Singapore (NUS). With a diverse background in global and APAC HR roles across Fortune 500 companies in the Medical Technology, Pharmaceutical, and Energy sectors, Kevin has lived and worked in Singapore, London, and Tokyo. He began his HR career in Learning & Development and Talent Management and remains passionate about leadership development, serving as a certified Executive Coach to senior leaders across various functions and regions. In addition to his corporate roles, Kevin contributes to the nonprofit sector as Chair of the Board HR Committee for a healthcare charity and as a board HR committee member for a mental health charity.
